Curious about Wooden Canoes
I was recently given this canoe. It appears to be in decent shape, but has a couple of cracked strips. My plan is to strip the old epoxy/varnish with chemical stripper and then...? Any suggestions about this boat. It's my first, and I'm not sure if I should just slap on a new coat of epoxy and varnish and just paddle it...or is it worth passing on to someone with better knowledge?
