This canoe is within an hour or so of us, and if anyone has a burning desire to own and restore it, Denis and I would be happy to do the personal inspection of the merchandise and pick it up and store it for you!
Checking the s/n with the list on Dan's site (http://dragonflycanoe.com/id/), it appears the canoe dates from 1948-1955 rather than 1942, as stated in the ad.
