I'm looking for the small rectangular one. Maybe 1 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches. I remember getting ones from Howie years ago. Goes on the deck of the cartopers and trailboats. any ideas? thanks

Long ago, 3 interested parties in the PY area went together and had a huge number of Py decals manufactured. They were sold as sets with one deck decal and two side decals.. The side decals were for cartop, cartopper, trailboat, or swift. two of the parties sold almost all of their decals for a very reasonable price. The third party died unfortunately, and his son was left with the decals. He sold them reasonably for a period of time, and then took an offer to sell all of the remaining decals at once. They are still available , but not cheap. ---It ain't me.

Goes on here. Car topper in sapphire blue. I still have to put a gold stripe on her. These Penn Yan's have WAY to many nuts, bolts and screws. 10 hours of putting hardware back on. not that I'm complaining.... ok I guess I am.

Dave, your boat is probably a trailboat, not a cartop. The bow handle, outside stem and oak ribs were the main differences. Of course, being a Penn Yan, it could still be a cartop.
