Pair of old Chestnut snowshoes

Hi all,
I don't know if this interests anybody, but I found a very nice pair of old Chestnut snowshoes! I don't think they've ever been used.
The man I bought them from said that they were bought in the early 60s and were stored in his father's bush plane for survival emergencies.
Cool old piece of Chestnut history.

Yeah!
Most of the sets I've seen over the years have worn off quite a bit. I've seen them with an etched identification too. They simply had "Chestnut" etched, where the logo is on mine.

Thanks Benson! It could be. They sure look similar. That's so cool to see those old catalogues!
Mine are 9 x 43 1/4", end to end. (Although, they're stamped 9 x 40)

Those don't look like they have never been used. Gut show wear quickly when you put bindings on them.
