OT Otca completed

I just finished this 16' Otca I picked up last August, serial # 125853-16.


Last week I also completed a 16' Yankee, so I thought I'd take some pics in a side-by-side profile view. It was then that I noticed that the Otca was 1" 'taller' than the Yankee - which explains why it weighs 4# more.


Again, too many canoes so off it goes to WCHA classifieds.

I have just started on a 1938 OTCA 17 cs with 30 odd broken ribs, bad stems and gunwales.

Looks terrific! Do you have any photos of work in progress? I'm trying to figure out how the inwales and stems join in my 1966 OTCA project. Both ends were completely gone and I need some reference. Here's where I'm at. It doesn't look right!
