The Old Town canoe with serial number 7442 is a 17 foot long, AA grade, Charles River model with Western red cedar planking, a keel, outside stems, long mahogany decks, mahogany trim, mahogany double gunwales, and two flag pole sockets. It was built between October, 1907 and April, 1908. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on April 27th, 1908 to Miamisburg, Ohio.
