Enthusiastic about Wooden Canoes
I came across this boat this summer, and I figured I'd post it in case anyone knows what kind of boat it is or just for general enjoyment. We found it on the Sturgeon River in eastern Ontario, along an old overgrown ATV trail. The construction is cedar-strip with thin half-round ribs, and the bottom has been covered in red fiberglass. As you can see it probably hasn't floated in a long time.
