Old Town 181901 is a 16 foot guide model, built during November and December of 1968. It was fitted with a keel and painted dark green, then shipped to Tucker, Georgia on May 16, 1969.

Serial number 787907 is way-higher than our scans on CD can reach... records of boats built after the mid-'70s have to be obtained from Old Town.

The scan of the guide is below. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ if you want more details.

We can try again, if the record doesn't seem to match the canoe!

I believe you have hit it perfectly. The canoe is in Georgia, and the owner says he has had it over 30 years. Thanks for the effort!!! The canoe has been stripped of its canvas but looks to be in great shape.
Thanks again.

Is this canoe

listed on WCHA classified's? That one is in Atlanta. I haven't heard
back form Jimmy regarding the numbers in the bottom. Just curious--I thought it may be the same one.
