Old town serial number search

Welcome, the Old Town canoe with serial number 183822 is a 15 foot long Light Weight model with a keel. It was built between September, 1969 and May, 1970. The original exterior canvas covering was painted red on one side and yellow on the other. It shipped on June 26th, 1972 to Sun Valley, Idaho. The back side of the card indicates that this canoe was returned on August 23rd, 1971, repainted red and yellow then shipped back. Scans showing both sides of this build record can be found below.
These scans and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
