Welcome and congratulations, the title of this thread lists serial number 67772 but your picture shows number 67762 so I will assume that the title has a typographical error. The Old Town canoe with serial number 67762 is a 17 foot long, AA (or top) grade, Otca model with red Western cedar planking, open mahogany gunwales, twenty inch mahogany decks, mahogany thwarts, mahogany seats, a keel, outside stems, and a floor rack. It was built between November, 1921 and January, 1922. The original exterior paint color design was like the one shown on the cover of the 1922 catalog cover. The image at https://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/covers/large-22.gif shows this. It shipped in late February, 1922 to Rochester, New York. A scan of this build record can be found below.

This scan and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/records/ if you want more details. I hope that you will donate, join or renew your membership to the WCHA so that services like this can continue. See http://www.wcha.org/about-wcha to learn more about the WCHA and http://www.wcha.org/store/membership to join.

It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer this description doesn't match the canoe. The link below has more information about how to value a canoe like this. You may also want to compare it to the similar listings at https://www.woodencanoe.org/classifieds in the WCHA classifieds. Please post a picture if the original design is still showing. Feel free to reply if you have any other questions. Good luck,

Benson
