The Old Town canoe with serial number 95937 is a 16 foot long, CS (common sense or standard) grade HW (heavy water) model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, ash decks, and equipped with a keel. It was built in 1927, although the specific dates of the build record are unclear, as is the original exterior color. It was shipped to Los Angeles, California on March 8, 1928.
