LOVES Wooden Canoes
The Old Town canoe with serial number 95196 is a 15 foot long 50 pounder with a keel. The build dates are difficult to read but it was in 1927. The original exterior canvas covering was dark green. The ship date is covered however it went to Big Moose Lake, N.Y. (north of Old Forge). A scan of this build record can be found by following the link behind the attached thumbnail image below.
