Old Town 238387 17

The Old Town canoe with serial number 238387 is a 17 foot long Molitor model with a FLSB (full length stem band?), a nameplate, and a keel. It weighed 84 pounds and was built between June and August, 1981. The original exterior fiberglass was left clear to show the natural wood. It shipped on September 2nd, 1981 to Gainesville, Florida. This scan and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well.
