The Old Town build record for serial number 210011 shows a 17 foot long avocado colored ABS canoe from 1975 that shipped to Oregon. Are you sure that it is fiberglass? Can you provide pictures of the serial number and/or the hull identification number? Thanks,

I believe the canoe is 17 foot long.
It is a green color . . . avocado sounds correct.
I bought the canoe in Vancouver, WA . . . across the Columbia River from Portland, OR.
I guess I wrongly assumed it was fiberglass.
It may certainly be ABS as you say.
It is not wood or aluminum.
The canoe is stored about a half hour from home.
I can get the picture you ask for in the next couple of days.

The Old Town canoe with serial number 210011 is a 17 foot long Chipewyan Tripper model with aluminum inserts in the rails that weighed 78 pounds. It was built in October, 1975. The original exterior color was avocado. It shipped on November 17th, 1975 to Eugene, Oregon. The back side indicates that it was purchased in May, 1976 and moved to Corvallis, Oregon. Scans showing both sides of this build record can be found below.
