Dennis,
The canoe you inquire about was shipped on February 17, 1947 to Old Forge, New York as a Model 50# in a Common Sense ("CS") grade. It had spruce gunwales with a keel and the original color was dark green. A build record is attached. If you are not already a member, please consider joining the WCHA to help support this and other services brought about by substantial grants and volunteer time. Restoration advise and help is readily available from the experts of this site.
