Hi there
I was fortunate enough to pick this up through a friend. The canoe is in excellent shape with original labels completely intact. The boat is equiped with sponsons and appears to have some sailing hardware remaining. Can you help me with history? Do you know where to find or recreate sailing hardware. Thanks

The Old Town canoe with serial number 123469 is a 17 foot, CS grade, HW (Heavy Water) model with open spruce gunwales, a keel, floor rack, and sponsons. It was built between November, 1937 and April, 1938. The original exterior paint color was medium green. It shipped on April 11th, 1938 to Boston, Massachusetts. The sailing rig was not mentioned on the original build record so it was probably added after this canoe left the factory.
