I got this canoe passed down to me through the family and was wondering if you could tell me the history of this canoe. Thanks alot

The canoe you inquire about was shipped on June 26, 1931 to Lake George, New York as an 18' Guide in "all wood" with open mahogany gunwales, seats, thwarts and decks. It was also built with half ribs & keel and the original color was dark green. A build record is attached.

I believe that should be "aa" or AA Grade (i.e. mahogany trim)...

Saved by Dan again! Sure looks like a "w" but then why would they paint an all wood canoe?
