Does anyone know the value of this type of kayak? I was trying to find it on eBay, but there are only similar ones, not Folbot. Well, there are pieces and paddles, but they are at least between $200 and $500.

The recently sold prices for Folbots on eBay range from $465 to $1895. The current asking prices range from $250 to $2350. The information at the link below describe the factors that influence the value of an old wooden canoe. Condition and location are the big ones. Most of these factors will apply to a Folbot but the price range is much lower. Good luck,

How much is my old canoe worth?

One of the most common questions that gets sent to the WCHA webmasters is "how much is my old canoe worth?" Tim Hewitt's responses over the years have included the following comments:

Any wooden or wood/canvas canoe in usable condition is worth $1000 - $1500. A canoe that is documentable will go on the high end, one that is particularly rare will bring more, up to $3000 for a wood canvas canoe, and as high as $5000 for an all-wood canoe. Folbots have a very small dedicated following. The older models are often hard to sell. I've bought three, a 70s Super for $150 with other sailing parts, a 90s Aleut for $200, and a 2003 Yukon for $240ish. There are plenty for sale at higher prices, but waiting a looong time for a buyer. A few rare new in the package old stock have sold much higher. Good luck with yours.
