Northern Lakes Chapter Canoe Museum Visit and paddle

The weekend of May 5, the Northern Lakes Chapter is planning a visit to the Canadian Canoe Museum, for their newest exhibit "Canoes to go" which opened April 25. As an added bonus, we will be treated to a guided tour of the rest of the collection by Dick Persson of Buckhorn Canoe Company. Schedule is the Museum tour Saturday beginning mid day, and a group paddle Sunday. For those that can join us either day, please send a quick PM or email so we can plan our numbers. Beavermead campground opens that weekend; http://www.peterborough.ca/Visiting/Beavermead_Campground.htm
They have a group camping area available for non-profits for $6/person.

Just a quick note, looks like the short notice we provided didnt allow for sufficient numbers to secure the campground so we'll try again later in the season. Thanks to those that responded, we'll post a date for a fall paddle shortly and post other events well in advance.
