Just thought I'd let WCHA forum members know about a new blog by Jim Davis (new WCHA forum member and photograher extraordinaire). Jim's blog is Carving Water With Wood, http://earthspiritcanoe.wordpress.com/. His first post is about the cherry paddle he just made....beautiful job....he makes paddles as well as he takes pictures. He also builds Native flutes. Check out this fine blog and watch for more from Jim.

Checked out his photo page too. The Robin Egg Blue canoe with the Birdseye mape deck looks pretty sweet. Like the pack basket and canvas pack as well.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I just aquired a 14' Huron canoe that I will be restoring, so look for updates on this as well.
