Need Info PLese

Hello again,
I have 3 more Canoes I would appreciate some information about
First is a 17' s/n is 146681
Second is a 15' s/n is 158751
Third is a 17' s/n-"I think"(hard to read on both sides) is THE FIRST# ITS A 7 OR A 4 then 99697-the first # is where I'm having a problem.It looks like a 1 but its not, Its newly restored w/ brass tacks showing under clear fiberglass. told it was a 1997.

They stopped keeping paper records around 1994 before serial number 470000 as shown at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/oldtown_chart.html so there isn't a old style build record for your last number. It should have a hull identification number that starts with XTC on the starboard stern. The information at http://www.boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/hin.htm will help you interpret this information including an encoded year. Good luck,
