The only thing that comes close to looking Morris are the ribs.
Decks, twarts, seats, and dimensions are all wrong. They don't show the stem, but it is most likely straight.

That tag got me too. If it is a Morris it has been cut down. New decks, thwarts.and heavy restoration. Yes the ribs look like they may have come from Maine. Lets take a look at that tell tail stem. Morris or not it is a bum canoe.

Yes, it says that in the description too. We know we can’t believe the author. So we have to look at the canoe. The power of suggestion is amazing. Hey the tag isn’t even the right shape either. Enclosed is an actual photo of a Morris.
