looking for plans

a friend of mine is restoring a 14ft x 28in peterborough canoe, i was wondering if anyone had or knew of plans for a similar boat, i think i could build from a strong back like a cedar stripper and add ribs afterwards

Plans are (or at least were) available from Doug Ingram at Red River Canoe and Paddle (http://www.redrivercanoe.ca).

I have built a few of these fourteen footers. Being 6'2" and 210 lbs, I prefer the 15' pleasure canoe, personally.

Still are!

I've built over a dozen of them so far, and will build two more this year. I've also rented out the for to some local paddlers and hobby builders who have built three more. Great canoe!

BTW, for those who would like to know, the 15' version is called the Minetta. Its also wider.
