... an Old Town 62874-16 (or perhaps 62374?). I'm told it's an Ideal from 1924. Has gorgeous mahogany rails, seats, and long decks, as well as half ribs.

The Old Town canoe with serial number 62374 is a 17 foot long Ideal model so my guess is that you want the one with serial number 62874 as described in the link below from your previous request.

Looking for the year & model for an OT 16FT long deck, serial # 62874, or maybe 32874. From the clues I've been given I believe it was restored by Jack McGreivey. Thanks for any info!

HA! I have absolutely no memory of asking for info on this canoe before! A friend brought the canoe over to me yesterday & it's the first time I've actually seen it (of this I am sure!). He must have asked for the info back when he bought the canoe last year.
