I think it was built around 1970, 18ft. I found an exterior # as well. OXTC89143M73G thank you.
Looking for help to decode Old town ser# 189143 18

Welcome, the Old Town canoe with the serial number 189143 and hull identification number XTC89143M73G is an 18 foot long Guide model with half ribs, a keel, and outside stems. It was built between April, 1972 and February, 1973. The original exterior paint colors were yellow and white. It shipped on February 28th, 1973 to Spokane, Washington.
