The Old Town canoe with serial number 137642 is a 16 foot long, AA (or top) grade, HW (Heavy Water) model with open mahogany gunwales, mahogany thwarts, mahogany seats, a keel, a floor rack, and sponsons. It was built between May and July, 1943. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on July 31st, 1943 to Canandaigua, New York.
