Hey Mike,
we've got about a foot of snow, I was trying to get out on the river to get the same photos you got. Looks great, nice cedar strip too. Looks like we're going to have a lot of snow this year, not like last year. Should be a good, deep winter to get a lot of projects done for spring.
 
LOVE these pictures-- great calendar material! The one with the two little rosy-cheeked guys in the middle is especially sweet!

Love the pic of the canoe with the snowshoes in it.

Piragis (Ely MN outfitter) in their last news "letter" had a couple pics of staff going out for 1 last (lake) paddle. It was froze up the next day.
