Lake Michigan in a Dugout Canoe

Wooden Canoes are in the Blood
A HUGE THANKS to Amy Lukas and Mary Catterlin for recently sharing the film of their adventure, "Lake Michigan in a Dugout Canoe" with the attendees of the Annual Assembly of the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association. Although they were unable to join us in person, they responded to questions remotely by the wonders of modern technology. Their enormous spirit touched all who watched. Several folks who missed the presentation heard about it the next day and asked us to show it again!

Here are two social media sites for those who want to follow their ongoing adventures;

Met these 2 girls tonight. They gave a presentation for a local group. Really worth hearing if you ever have the chance to.
