The Kennebec canoe with serial number 13539 is shown on page 195 of volume number two in the Kennebec ledgers. This was assigned to an 17 foot long Kennebec Model type a. It was planked by Grant on December 20th, 1919. It was covered with canvas by C. P. Roy on January 3rd, 1920 and the first filler coat was applied by Roy on the same day. The rails were applied by Bishop on April 10th, 1920. The original color was blue and it originally shipped to location "Chamberlain Co." on April 22nd, 1920. This location is probably a dealer but we don't currently have enough information to identify it.
The scans of this build record can be found by following the links at the attached thumbnail images below. These original Kennebec records are reproduced through the courtesy of the Maine State Museum.
It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match the canoe. The dimensions of the Kennebec model from the 1920 catalog are shown in the third image attached below. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.
