Just bought half of an Old Town Canoe

I believe SN to be 169582 18, can you provide build sheet? Thank you.

The guy's brother cut it in half to make storage, sad because it was in easily restorable condition.

The canoe end will be used by a friend to display vintage motors at shows.

The Old Town canoe with serial number 169582 is an 18 foot long Otca model with a keel. It was built between December, 1959 and July, 1960. The original exterior paint color was bright red. It shipped on July 7th, 1960 to Pompton Plains, New Jersey. The scan of this build record can be found by following the link at the attached thumbnail image below.

Thank you.
Hope to make it to the Assembly this year.
Not restoring any more wooden canoes but will continue to try to rescue ones that need saving.
What is left of this will end up about 4' long with a vintage motor mount and a vintage canoe.
...better than destroying a canoe that could be saved.
