It is much too small to use so it probably is a model. You may want to see if you can find any serial numbers on the inside stems or decals on the combing. The images below show similar kayaks from Old Town and Kennebec. You may want to get some of the catalog CDs from http://www.dragonflycanoe.com/cdrom.htm to see if you can find some other kayaks that better match the construction characteristics of yours. Let us know what you find out.
