SN 14079. This canoe served as a tender (note the lack of thwart or bow seat) for a sailboat my grandfather had on the Delaware / Chesapeake. It made its way from greater Philadelphia to the Finger Lakes (1930s
) to the Adirondacks in the early 1940s. It was ALWAYS referred to as "The White". (The red canoe in the photos is a Carleton delivered in 1931 to my grandfather in Philadelphia). Is it a Morris or a White?

The white canoe is clearly a Morris...a later one with opens rails and the newer style curved decks. The splayed stem and the Morris brass tag are very clearly visible in your photos as is the distinctive stern seat.
If you have the serial number from the tag you might estimate it's age by using the chart located here:

It looks like the canoe has suffered some tack damage from brackish/salty water. You can observe salt "blooms" where the tacks penetrate the ribs on the inside of the hull. The fix is to re-tack the boat next time it's canvased....
That aside it is in remarkably good shape. If you repaint when it' re-canvased it could become a red or green or blue canoe!
