Inquiring on a build record for an Old Town (Yankee?) Canoe #173265 16

Good afternoon, I have an Old Town (Yankee?) Canoe in my shop for restoration. The serial number is 173265 16. Would it be possible to obtain the original build record for this?
Also, this canoe has copper stem bands on it. I'm curious if these might be original or could they possibly be aftermarket pieces?

Welcome and congratulations, the Old Town canoe with serial number 173265 is a 16 foot long Otca model with a keel. It was built between August and September, 1963. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on October 22nd, 1963 to Waco, Texas. A scan of this build record can be found below.

This scan and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match the canoe. This canoe was built on the same form as the Yankee but the model name had been retired at that point. The link below has more details.
