Info On Square Stern Old Town Canoe

I was hoping I could get the build record on a canoe with the serial number 158318. It could also possibly be 158316, I'm unable to completely make out the last digit completely. However it is a 16ft square stern without sponsons if that helps narrow things down.

Welcome, the Old Town canoe with serial number 158318 is a 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, square stern model with a four foot deck, a keel and outside stems. It was built between August and October, 1952. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on April, 24th, 1954 to Orono, Maine.
