Info on 12' Old Town Rowboat

I have a 12' (?) Old Town Rowboat with sponsons. There is no number on the front stem. Is there build data available for these? Is there a serial number plate somewhere I'm not looking?

Yes, there should be a serial number stamped on the inside stem like a canoe, as well as on the edge of the transom or on the edge of the angle brace that supports the middle of the transom at the bottom on the keelson. The basic format is the same and there are build records to go with them. The message at http://forums.wcha.org/showthread.php?t=2860 describes a similar one.
