Indian Girl Serial Number (whatsit?)

On the chance that the buyer of the IG that was sold at auction yesterday visits this forum, please post the serial number or send it along to Dan Miller (Wooden Canoe Museum site) for the list he has been maintaining. I probably should have asked the auction house to provide it, but I never got around to it.

I had to call to pay for a few items I bought so while I was on the phone, I asked about it. They did not know the number off hand, but I'm hoping that they will get it for me with it. Stay tuned.

This is a no go. The auctioneer got back to me and reported that he did not find a serial number. The canoe looked like it had been previously restored so it is possible that the numbers were sanded off... it seems unlikely, but it is possible.
