Canoeist and sailor
Did anyone else happen to see the news story about the 18th century canoe found in England? A birchbark canoe purchased in Canada in the 1770s or 1780s was found in storage. The canoe is on its way back to Canada and will become part of the Canadian Canoe Museum's collection in Peterborough, Ontario. What an amazing find!
