In search of build information for Old Town Canoe #128040 16

Welcome, the Old Town canoe with serial number 128040 is a 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, HW (heavy water) model with open spruce gunwales and a keel. It was built between July, 1939 and May, 1940. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on May 27th, 1940 to Saranac, New York. A scan showing this build record can be found below.
