The 1897 is off the mold! Cant wait to finish her. Holy cow, so much planking, took quite a bit of time to skin this one. Working on figuring out the closed gunwales right now.

I imagine it is even more inspiring in the flesh, so to speak. Most only place I ever go in Michigan is Manistique, but you know, someday, maybe I'll make it over to the lower half... Or maybe when assembly is a little closer to home...

Did we ever figure out the fastening method? Epoxy of some kind? I don't see any scale tacks... :l
