Help with mfgr Y-Stern

Enthusiastic about Wooden Canoes
I picked this one up today. Its 18' 3"long. 48" wide. Ribs and planking are good. Its been fiberglassed, but appears to be old and not attached very well. Keeping my fingers crossed on that. Chestnut maybe? Thanks for any help.
