Welcome, the Old Town canoe with serial number 64260 is a 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, Otca model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, twenty inch birch decks, birch thwarts, birch seats, and a keel. It was built between December, 1920 and July, 1921. The original exterior paint color was bright red. It shipped on April 11th, 1922 to Portland, Oregon. A scan of this build record can be found below.
This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at
http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/records/ if you want more details. I hope that you will donate, join or renew your membership to the WCHA so that services like this can continue. See

It is possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe. The 18 on the end of the number you provided indicates that you should have an 18 foot long canoe so there may be an error in your number. Can you provide pictures of the serial numbers and surrounding areas from each end? The suggestions at
https://www.wcha.org/forums/index.php?threads/791/ may help if some of the digits are hard to read. People often miss a leading one so I also checked serial number 164260. This turned out to be a 34 foot long canoe that shipped to Disneyland in 1956 as shown below so that isn't a better match. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions. Good luck with the project,
Benson
