Hello from Tiverton, UK

Hello, I am very new to wooden canoes having just bought one off ebay. I had been looking for a wooden canoe project (at the right price) for a while, and now I have one, I'm very excited about working towards bringing it back to life!
I'm an Architect and environmental building physics researcher living near to Tiverton (Devon) in the UK and have been paddling plastic canoes for a while.

I'm sure i'll be a regular visitor to this forum as I get into the restoration, so watch out for the naive / newbe questions... apologies in advance!
