Canoe Nut
Hi,
It appears that there was not post of this event, but we had a great time at Norm's Hideaway on Lake Koshkonong, WI.
We had a good number of canoes and the usual or unusual appearance of the Duck boats. At least this year we had as many canoes and duck boats.
I finally got my birch bark canoe in the water for the first time since its purchase back in 8/04. It is a Vaillancourt built in 1997. Myself and anyone present had the opportunity to paddle a great canoe and all who did were impressed. Definitely a must do if you are a true canoe nut.
Katie the dog was there with her master but he didn't have a boat so she bummed rides on just about everything except the Vaillancourt.
Thanks,
Paul
P.S. that's me in the green Canadian Canoe Museum tee shirt.
