April 26 – Ralph Frese Canoe Collection Tour and Talk, Chicagoland Canoe Base, 4019 N. Narragansett. Ave., Chicago. 10 a.m. start. Contact: Paul Miller, 603-235-8003,

May 30 – Third Annual Restorer’s Workshop hosted by Paul and Cindy Miller, Elburn Ill., 40 miles west of Chicago. 10 a.m. start. RSVP Paul Miller, 603-235-8003,

June 27 – Grant River Paddle, Pole and Pfish. Grant County Wisconsin, southwest of Lancaster. 10 a.m. start. Contact: Jerry Karbon, 608-0831-5552, jkarbon@charter.net.

July 25-26 – Namekagon/St Croix Paddle, Camp, Fish and visit the Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum in Spooner. Northwest Wisconsin in conjunction with the Wisconsin Canoe Museum Association and the Wild Rivers Chapter of the WCHA. Contact: Jerry Karbon, 608-831-5552, jkarbon@charter.net.

August 8 – Paddle and socialize at Norm’s Hideaway, W8639 Kuehn Road, on Lake Koshkonong between Ft. Atkinson and Edgerton in southeastern Wisconsin. 1 p.m. start. For information: Dennis Ehle, 608-873-6313.
