LOVES Wooden Canoes
Spent a nice day paddling in Grand Teton.

Floated down the Snake from Pacific Creek to Deadman's bar. No desperate moves required, although snags were frequent enough that knowing how to steer was useful. Had no problems hitching a ride back to the canoe after shuttling the car.

Had a relaxing late afternoon paddle on string and leigh lakes. The water was warm and a bear was kind enough to get close enough for a picture. After we went through, I did hear a few parents telling their kids to sit down in the canoe.

Down here, it can be hard to get a picture of a bear that is not sporting a collar or ear tag.
