Canoe Curious
We couldn't swing the Assembly last week (traveling with dogs). But we ended up driving back to Maine to pick up an OTCA and stop in at Northwoods Canoe. There we met with Rollin and his wife to pick up supplies for the two projects that I'll be working on until next summer.
From there we went camping a night in Groton State Forrest in VT. The campgrounds there were really nice and the other campers were really friendly. After driving over 2000 miles it was really good to go for a paddle.
We then made our way through the Adirondacks down to the Fulton Chain whare our Charles River was originally bought and enjoyed. We had reserved a lean-to on Alger island in the Fourth Lake. So we loaded up the dogs and the camping gear to spend a couple seriously beautiful nights.
Our first-time canoe camping. I think I could get used to it.
