Has anyone information about the Foster Brothers canoe builders.

I have a canoe about 16+' built like a guide or prospector, very deep, wide and very little rise to the wales. The canoe has the remains of a decal on the deck that says Foster Bros. but can't make anything else.

Here are some pictures.

I did a rubbing of what was left of the decal on the deck after someone stripped it. But I don't think that it will scan very well.

I forgot to mention that the decks, thwarts, seats, inwales and outwales are made of Philippine Mahogany.
