fiberglassing advice

Curious about Wooden Canoes
I'm looking for any advice on fiberglassing this slightly out-of-the-ordinary canoe that I've built out of extruded polystyrene. I've been told that it will be safe to use an epoxy on it (like it won't eat the polystyrene), but I'd like that confirmed before I begin. Here's a link to some pictures of it: http://www.d.umn.edu/~ebrohaug/polycanoe.html

plyoform canoe

i made one back in the 70's had to use poly resin on it it lasted quite well i bent the ply-o-foam around a 11 foot canoe with a heat gun then fiberglassed the outside then took it off and did the inside only weighed around 20 lbs with seats rails and carying yoke could carry it for miles only problem was when the wind came up it was like a styrofoam cup you sure got down to the end of the pond quick this was a special styrofoam that had a coating that allowed resin to adhere and not eat it i still have the info from the company if you would like it scanned although im sure its outdated
