Has anyone heard of the Faber canoe made north of Quebec City.
We have one(16' wood and canvas) we bought in about 1962 or 3. My husband started to restore it but deceased. I was wondering if it has
any sale value as a project. It was never damaged.
Thanks, Donna

Settling an estate is never easy or fun. Faber canoes are reasonably well known. More information about them is available at http://www.dragonflycanoe.com/id/ and the company still exists at www.fabersnowshoes.com as a snowshoe manufacturer. The best information about how to value and sell a wooden canoe is at http://forums.wcha.org/showthread.php?t=57 in the FAQ section. The classifieds at http://classifieds.wcha.org/ are the probably easiest way to find a good home for your husband's project and there is no fee if you decide to offer it for no charge. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.
