We have an Old Town Canoe, wood and canvas, that my father-in-law bought and had restored in the Adirondacks in the early 70s. My husband remembers that, at the time, they were told it was about 75 years old. I can make out some numbers on one of the stems, but not cleat enough to get a serial number. I was hoping to get and approximate date and model from this forum.
Measurements:
Length: 14 ft
Beam: 32 in
Depth 12 in
Wt: 48-50lb
41 ribs
2 thwarts in addition to yolk
Some photos posted.

Thanks for any help identifying this wonderful canoe!

Thats a lovely canoe! The deck tag and rolled copper stem cover stem, among other details, appear to confirm that you have an E.M.White canoe… made in Old Town, Maine. Other folks will surely chime in with more detail, perhaps catalog details of the specific model.
